Red Bull F1 Simulator In Action [VIDEO]

We all know that budget and rule constraints have limited Formula One teams in their insanely expensive test sessions at the track. The only logical solution? Build an insanely expensive electronic simulator for the drivers.

We’ve all heard the rumors before – these things are so strong, they can break your bones – but an F1 simulator is no laughing matter. It has more in common with a space shuttle training simulator than an arcade machine, even though it has graphics that look like a bad memory of the old CART Fury coin-op. Yes – CART Fury – remember that?

In the video below, Red Bull F1 driver Mark Webber takes the RBR simulator out for a narrated lap of Hungaroring – home of the Hungarian Grand Prix. We bet that it would be killer with Gran Turismo 5 on it.
