The course setup was the old classic “roval” configuration and the oval banking rewarded pure horsepower and balls. Many of the turbocharged front runners were running top speeds over 160mph.
The Exige S1 has no luxuries or comforts; it doesn’t even have carpet. But what it did have past the Elise was better aerodynamics, a stiffer body and the VHPD K-Series Rover engine.
Having worked on their racecars during the off-season and barely two rounds into the 2010 season, NASA members made the short trip out in droves. They were greeted with clear skies, great air and one of NASCAR’s speedway stops.

There’s a reason why these exotic cars cost so much – half of it is because of low volume and high douche factor but the other half is pure performance. Lambos and Ferraris really are incredible automobiles in the end.
